Hello to everybody,my name is Ariel and Im from Argentina ,South America.I'm professional playing standard guitars ( electric, spanish, acoustic etc) and I've been learning pedal and lap steel guitars from almost an year.Mr Tom Bradshaw ,Mr Ray Montee and Mr Dewitt Scott teach me,help me and support me in many ways, great gentlemans...Thanks a lot!!
One thing about pod xt...if you got an effect loop in your amplifier, just connect the return to your pod xt right output ..is the best way because block the preamp and sound better. The amps in your pod xt should be clean and real...best regards to everybody

Thanks a lot guys! ...you makes me fell just at home. It's almost truth what you said,I only know one guy who plays pedal steel here, and I guess he lives in United States most of the time.Another guitar players play a little lap style slides in rock and pop songs, but I guess I'm almost alone learning the "whole real thing"....but we got the internet know,it's great.I'm a Tango guitar player ,gradute in the best school here, with the best teachers ....if someone of you wants to know something about history, music, guitar players or anything about it ,only have to ask me...I can send to you great cd's about the bigger stars and change it to steel cd's,almost impossible to find here. It's gonna be a big challenge to play Tango in steel guitar!!! sometimes I think about it...but who knows...is really possible,it sounds like play country music in a bandoneon, but some guys play jazz on it very good!At first I have to learn the steel styles,I play rock and pop for live, and I love it too as well as almost all music styles ....About steel guitar,I'm Paul Franklin's big fan,Jerry Bird makes me cry,Jay Dee Manness,Buddy Emmons of course..and jerry garcia too,I studied the "teach you children" solo posted here, thanks!you know, there are so many great players..Thanks for your "welcome" and sorry about my poor inglish, sometimes I make mistakes....Best Regards for all the Steel guitar family |
