Seldom in this neck'o the woods does one get to hear a real steel guitar solo effort. One of the finest steel men in this area IMHO is one Harley James, with the Buckles. This lil' four piece group is playing to packed houses and not only are the musicians enjoying themselves but so are the "pay at the door patrons". His back-up work and over-all versatility is hard to match. Go give them a listen when in your area. You'll realize it's one of the best investments you've made in a long for an all too short evening of musical entertainment.
There's a new steel solo for you to listen to, as of today, and it can be heard without the the cigarete smoke of a typical club-scene crowd. Give it a listen:

Thanks for posting that song, Ray. That was some peppy "touch & tone" action from The Maestro.

I would have listened to it anywhere, since it's been a number of years now since smoking was banned in bars in California!
