What is the exact quote about "singing the praises of the Lord on an instrument of 10 strings," and where did it come from?

Mike;
That phrase is a quote from the Bible! ‘Unfortunately’, I'm not well enough versed on the Bible to tell you where to find it! “FORTUNATELY” You ‘can’ still find it, if you read the Bible from begining to end!

Psalms 33:1-3 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise ye the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song: play skilfully with a loud noise.

I was about to mention that as I recall it was in reference to the instrument of that day, which was a small harp w/10-strings, but; I see that Lee has beaten me to it!

Thanks Guys. In another foprum, people are asking What kind of Guitar would (name a famous person) play if they were a musician. Among the mames mentioned was Jesus. I said he'd be a steel player.

Hey, what if "singing the praise of the Lord" actually meant "describing the structure of the universe" and what if the "10 string instrument" actually meant superstring theory that predicts a 10 dimentional space-time?

Wouldn't that be fun?

Would that be a bass or piano?

Ps 144:9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
