Eddie Lange with Bill Anderson

My son Eddie went to work for Whisperin' Bill a couple of weeks ago. Eddie is very happy with his new job. Things seem to be going very well. His mother Kathy and I, along with his brother Harry couldn't be more pleased or proud of his accomplishments. The Bill Anderson Show will be in the Wisconsin Dells on June 24th, at the Midwest Country Theater in Sandstone, MN on June 25th and here at home in St. Cloud, MN on June 26th. Our thanks go out to the steel guitar community for always supporting the efforts of young players.

Seems strange to congratulate parents on their son becoming a "Po Boy".... but in this instance, it is well deserved. Best wishes for his young career.

Guarantee you one thing. Bill and the entire band are nothing but class. I know he will have a great time! If he can just get Les Singer to get that telecaster in tune...hehehehe....

Kevin,
I enjoyed listening to your son Eddie play this past weekend at the Opry with Whisperin' Bill. He did a superb job, played all the parts just like he had been playing them for years. Fine player and young man.

Eddie-Glad to hear you're with Bill now.
Eve and I will celebrate our 50th aniversery June 1st, and our kids are sending us on a cruise. We opted for the Grand Ole Opry cruise in Jan 2007. Hope to see you there. The line-up is Bill Anderson, Lorrie Morgan and Little Jimmy Dickens, with a 4th act to be added. I'll be looking for you.

Eddie is one of a kind for treating people and music with respect. His knowledge of Country Music History is unmatched. It is always great to see someone get an opportunity who really deserves it.
