Who's the old male singer? Maybe an aged Charlie Louvin? (My dad guessed him right away).

No idea about the girl singer or steeler.

(Maybe John Hughey?)

Cody,

Right, that is Charlie Louvin, the girl singer is one of the great Bluegrass vocalists...the steeler is not John Hughey...

Chuck, it is not Melba Montgomery. The track was recorded in the late 80's...

My guess would be Rhonda Vincent. I'd better look through my albums as I might have this one.

My LP doesn't have this song on it, but it does have Terry Crisp playing steel on it.

"New Dreams and Sunshine", Rhonda Vincent, Charlie Louvin, Terry Crisp on Steel, from the Rhonda Vincent album of the same name - Rebel Records REB-1665. Great record, I have my original LP version.

I guess Dave's answer is pretty definitive! I thought it sounded like Terry Crisp!! I saw him with Ricky Skaggs in the late 80s--best tone I have ever heard! Mullen into an Evans (would have been FET500). Where is he now?

I only got a min and 1/2. Is that all you have on the clip? Or maybe the old puter knocked off to soon.

Unless things have changed in the last few weeks.Terry Crisp is with Joe Nickols {SP?} and has been for some 3 years now....bb
