Very cool vids!! I like the taste of Night Life you snuck in there Dave. Its not a good life but it's our life. That is how to mix a steel guitar.

Dig that solo, nice style, never heard of your band before but nice lead vocals. For those who couldn't see it you have to wait for the commercials to pass.
Looks like time to buy another CD, damn.

Thanks Dave! That was fantastic. What a sound, and what great playing on that steel guitar. Is it Ricky's old Sho-Bud Pro II?

Dave the videos are great! It is sooo nice to see a Band with a Steel Player up front both physically and Musically. You sound and play great! The whole Band sounds very good to me.

I still kick myself for missing them at Duff's Garage in 2005. From all accounts they were awesome.

Yes indeed Jan; that is my "The Pro-II" I played for years with Dale Watson, seen and heard here for proof..ha..>
Live on the Grand Ole Opry
I can't begin to tell you how proud I am that D.B. is keeping that Sho-bud alive; in a Big way...>I am so proud of my Boy...as David plays with all his might and conviction and as Lloyd always told us: "The Steel guitar is the Other Voice in a Song"; and D.B. displays that with his heart and soul.
Yes; this video David put up is part of the CMT tv; so you have to wait for the commercial to be over(patience is used here...ha.)and seems to be formatted for the "internet explorer" browser.
Good going David B. you insprire us all my Brother.

Ricky,, Thanx for sharing that with us...
I can't, for the life of me, understand why Nashville is so in love with this new crop of "weenies" that they promote and Dale has been trying to get out there for so long.
Nice Steel!
[This message was edited by Jack Francis on 15 January 2006 at 06:04 PM.]

This was wonderful to see and hear. I love the simplicity of just showing the band and the playing was excellent. Love the 'night life' quote...Sho-Bud sounded great (I want one)...And for all complaining about the Prilosec commercial, don't sell it short...That's pretty awesome stuff too!

Dave, you sound great. I caught most of your show with Los Lobos at HOB on Sunset and really enjoyed it although from where I was at least, it was a good example of how not to mix a steel. Hope to hear and meet you at the Geek Fest.
