Here's one of "Little" Jimmy Dickens singing Big Sandy with Buddy Emmons on his Bigsby Steel, I think, ....looks and sounds like Buddy was using a Capo on this tune.

50s Strat through 50s Tweed Bassman = tone heaven. It's actually a much better guitar amp than bass amp, IMO. That's why a nice one these days goes for 5-10 grand.

That looks like ex-Drifting Cowboy Sammy Pruett on guitar with Carl.

I played an outdoor gig recently with a guy playing a tele thru a tweed bassman, best country guitar sound I've heard in a long time. Hoping He'll be working with us steady soon.
