The Doctors Are In

Post by Steve Kritz »

As probably most Forum members do, I check in just about everyday to see and read what "words of wisdom" might be so graciously provided by some of the best steel players in the world. Most of the time, I leave with something that helps me and I'm sure most of you can say the same. When I have a problem, the solution is usually found here. The purpose of this post is pretty simple, what's your problem? I believe, if we're honest with ourselves, there are some that need a jump start in an area of our playing, bad habits we've created and need fixed, mechanics that need tweaked or completely changed, the "how to's" in order to formulate good practice time, to be a more creative player, style developing, how do I begin to create my own style, all those things you were maybe afraid to ask because your thinking it's to stupid or to far fetched.
We have at our disposal players that have dealt with all these things, so why not ask them? If your out there"lurking ", and you consider yourself a new player, join the Forum, get "your act together", in the areas you need help and advise in, other new/older players might be having the same problem and what's so nice, these experiened players will bend over backwards for you, your part is simply be courageus and not afraid to ask. Good luck and have fun with this.....Steve

My problem at the moment is trying to thaw out something in the freezer in less than an hour and I can't find a thing about this subject in any of the tab I have.

Speaking only for myself, It is much like a fellow that just got bumped off the train in a strange city, penny less, and a kind stranger says hey buddy do you need directions? And you think man I sure do if I just knew where I am and need to go from here.
There seems to be plenty of willing, knowledgeable people on here that will answer anything you ask if you have any idea of what you need to know
Many thanks to all who do take the time and effort to answer all the questions
