I noticed the Live from Austin folks have released a 1989 performance of Waylon, does anyone know if Ralph is on it ? I saw the post about the other concert as well and that looks great to.

I saw an episode of Waylon with Ralph many moons ago. Ralph played a ShoBud SuperPro through twin Peaveys.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it is Mooney, wearing a big feathered-up hat and playing a dark brown or black 'Bud...? |

It's a 1989 gig with Mooney as part of the Waylors, this Live At Austin City Limits release is part of the major reissue series via New West Records in Texas.

I ended up buying it over the weekend, lots of Ralph, great close ups playing a Sho Bud super pro. Ralph takes a ride on almost every tune. |

Shaun, what's the title? Did you have to order it from a certain dealer or is it available elsewhere? Thank you. |

Charles,
I bought it at Borders books and music and the title is "live from Austin" Waylon Jennings. These folks have been licensed to release old Austin Limits shows. They also just released Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash plus there is a Steve Earl one with Bucky Baxter playing his Emmons D-10 PP. http://livefromaustintx.com/ this is the web address. |
