I heard Invitation to the Blues on "Hanks Place" on Direct TV the other day. I could have sworn it was Reba singing it. Does anyone know for sure if it was? If so, which album?
Can you imagine if Reba were to do an album of real country hits such as Martina did.
My TV is always on Hanks Place, man I love listening to real country music again. |

| The CD is available from Amazon. I bought it a couple of years ago after hearing that exact tune on Hank's Place. Great change up in the middle of the tune too... |

| Who originally sang it and wrote it? Ray Price? Chuck Cusimano used to sing it alot when I played with him. But I can't remember that far back. |

| "Invitation To The Blues" was written by Roger Miller, I think it was first recorded by Ray Price, bur Roger had a darn good cut also |

| That's about the only song Reba ever did that I like. Belinski has played it often on his radio show. She does a modulation near the end that is way cool. Overall, a great rendition. I believe she cut it back in the mid to late 70's... |
