Jerry Boyanton-anyone know him today???

Hello.
Just got in the door an old LP by Jerry Boyanton "Sacred steel guitar" . Probably from late 60`s or 70`s.,playing an old ZB.
The liner notes says he backed many artists such as George Jones.The name is unknown to me,so it will be nice to see if anyone know anything about his status today.
