(not sure exactly when this was released, recent I think) but, it's a new disc to me, and I just thought I'd chirp in here to say--- what a nice disc from Robbie with lots of space (choice, choice) for both Redd Volkert and Lloyd Green. There's a really fine instrumental track near the end of the disc too with a cool head and nice rides on the elec gtr and steel, a real tone-fest.

-just did a search to see if I was late again on a scoop... sorry, yes, of course..., the topic of this disc appeared more than a few months ago ... it's still a really fine disc nonetheless and I intend to enjoy many more listenings.

Robbie's earlier discs also feature Tom Brumly and John Hughey on steel. I have all of his recordings. Not a bad one in the bunch. What a great song writer. Check 'em all out when ya' get the chance.
