Any PSG Players in Central Oregon

Post by Keith Banning »

Hi All,

A new forum member here....Thanks to you all for the great wealth of info contained in this forum.

I have aquired a 70s Sho-Bud LDG and am looking to learn. If anyone knows of someone in Central Oregon (Bend, Redmond, Madras, Sunriver, or Sisters) who gives good lessons, please let me know.

Thanks!
Keith

Welcome aboard, Keith, I'm on the wrong side of the mountains here in the People's Republic of Portland, but if you make it over the hill you're certainly free to pick my feeble brain.

Thanks Dave, Larry & Larry,

I've located Gordon's contact info (dexonline.com is a wonderful thing). Also, though these forums, I found that Bobby Koefer lives in Bend but I'm not sure what his personality is, if he's even interested in teaching someone....it would be a complete cold call!

Oh well, no risk it, no biscuit! Image I'll call them both.

Thanks, and keep em coming if you know of any pickers in Central Oregon.

Definately give them a call. Nobody should be shy about calling or meeting another steel player. You will be hard pressed to find a steel player that doesn't like to talk with other players and even throw some advise their way. I my 35 years of playing, I have only met one player that wouldn't take the time to chat a little.

Hi Keith, welcome to the forum. I have a sister and brother-in-law live in Bend. Sorry, I don't know any players or teachers there, though.
