Pretty, but no steel. To keep this on topic, here's
my version (not quite as spectacular, I know).
I've always loved that tune.

That sure sounds like "Take Six", one of my favorite vocal groups! Their harmony work is heavenly, better than any other vocal group I've ever heard.

Great job Bobby. Enjoyed it very much.

I can't get the link to work, but if it is Take Six, it's a track from their first Christmas CD, 'He Is Christmas'.
This is my very favourite album, and it should be 'required listening' for all aspiring musicians. Their 'Hark, The Herald Angels Sing' and 'Sweet Little Jesus Child' are even better tracks, in my opinion.
Please give this CD a listen if you haven't already - they're the best vocal group on the Planet! They're just as good 'live', too....

Jelle,
Thanks for a great song. It's one of my favorites. Do you know of any versions online in languages other than English?
Also, are you related to Jelle Roll Morton? Is a jelle roll a broodje? a coekje? Have I spent too much time in Vondel Park smoke shops?

NSYNC, indeed the best vocal group on the planet.
Beautiful version Bobby.
Let us remember that (IMHO) these moving harmonies are the thing that gave birth to the steel, a way to capture an ensemble on one instrument.
Not unrelated, to me.

Sorry - I'd reacted to Donny's post and assumed it was Take Six. This 'Nsync version is beautiful, but owes a lot to Take Six' influence, I've no doubt.
Thank you, Jelle, for e-mailing me that link - even though (as I type this post) it's still 'buffering - the curse of dial-up - it works, and I'm getting gorgeous snatches of the music as it's loading. I once heard 'Nsync written off as a mere 'boy band'(
!!!!) They're amazing.
Charlie: I agree with that PSG analogy of yours - good point!
If you liked this track, then I commend that Take Six CD, 'He Is Christmas' to everyone's attention - it'll put goose-bumps on your goose-bumps! I once played a track to a fellow-musician during a tour, and he openly wept as he listened.

I'm going to check out Bob's track later - this ole computer's way too slow.....
PS: Is this a Christmas CD by 'Nsync?
