This morning as I was having breakfast with my grandchildren, there was a cartoon called Ed, Ed and Eddy on the cartoon network. What caught my ear was the steel guitar sound that was in the background. So I started to play attention and saw a cartoon character playing a pedal steel guitar complete with a bar in his hand. So now there is Sponge Bob and Ed, Ed and Eddy with steel sounds in the background. The exposure at that early age may turn into something I hope. Any one else caught this yet??

A few years ago, the wife and I were watching EE & E and the scene was panning past Ed's house where everything was labeled. "Vacuum cleaner," "aquarium," "couch," "pedal steel guitar," etc.
There was a pedal steel sitting in the middle of his living room, so somebody there is hip to what's happening.
Incidentally, Mike Judge, the creator of "Beavis and Butthead" and "King of the Hill," is also a pedal steel player.
A Sho-Bud Pro I, as I recall.
