Thanks Wayne for starting my day with the great pickin' on The Imus Show this A.M.

Guys if you missed this, you missed some great stuff. Wayne sounded fine on his Carter, also on the Super Slide. Wayne got a bunch of "face time"

BTW, Martina done good backing Wayne on "Thanks a Lot", "Heartaches by the Number", etc.

Congrats, Wayne.

Bob

Great playing, Wayne. Heartaches by the Number - yup, certainly on my top 10 list of "real country" tunes. What a refreshing change of pace on morning TV.

I'll definitely be there for the show at the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, January 13 (I teach at Penn State). For those of you in North Central PA or even South Central NY, State College is not that far. Looks like another Central PA show on Monday January 16 in Hershey.

Local radio is already announcing
her "Timeless Tour", tickets are
being sold.
If you can get the passes, that would
be great. Thanks.

I saw Martina back in summer of 1999 at the Oakwood Lake Resort Amphitheater in Manteca, California. Awsome show. I can only imagine what it's like now. As far as I'm concerned Wayne, you have the best "gig" in America.

Wayne you are lucky you have a job. An old friend of mine that I got started picking the steel used to play with the "Shifters" (Martina's Dads band) when she was young and just getting started. She always told him when she made it big he would be her steel player. Yeah right!
So goes life. I caught you guys on TV the other morning and was so gald to hear real county music. Tell Martina she made us all proud with her choice of music for that show.
Keep up the good work.
