Guys sorry to say I also Enjoy playing the clubs, did A lot of stage shows, same song same note 6 nights a week.Gave it up for years altho when I started to work again all the joints were going to Kareoke tough.Finnaly got a job. Guess the best thing I like most in the clubs is you can turn it loose and let er go.There not waiting for a sour note all they want to do is dance. Gordon Sharp.

I can sympathize, same exact thing goin on out here in Culver City, all the clubs have gone "Kareoke", Damn it's just like when Disco hit in the 70's, closed all the good rock n roll clubs.

Guess I picked a good time to have hand problems, huh Billy? Well, at least I have time for the clubs to come around again - maybe by then I'll have this steel thing figured out enough to play in front of humans again..
.
Maybe I'll wait 'til my son's band gigs at the Whiskey again and sit in....tell me they haven't gone karaoke!
