Hey Marion, I was in Los Angeles last month so see some old friends and ran into Billy Tonneson playing with Sammy Masters. He said he'd like to get in touch with you again. Can you give me an email address he could contact you at? My new email is: jshayes2005@verizon.net Thanks, JH in Va.

I couldn't believe it! Ol' Sammy is in his middle seventies and still singin' as good as ever. Billy was still doing his thing on steel as well as I'd ever heard him. He now has a double neck Sierra with a 12 string neck on the outside and a 10 on the inside. The 12 is tuned to E13th and the 10 to A6th. He still does the old non pedal thing of going back and forth between the necks in the middle of a ride. He's got pedals but he said he uses the knee levers more.....JH in Va.

One of the guys at work made reference to an "elderly" gentleman he had met. Turns out this "elderly" man is 55.
