Sorry it's been such a long time between posts (or replys for that matter). It's nice to see familier names and a bunch of new folks.
I appreciated see those pics posted by John Ummel of Gerry Andel and Pat Roberts at the Evergreen State Fair. Glad to hear your back at it John.

Steve Hinson continues to garner justifiable praise from his peers.

I thought I saw Tom Quinn's name pop up not too long ago, or was I imagining things?

Was saddened to read of Hal Rugg's passing.

The jokes in the humour section seem to re-cycle about every two to three years as reliably as the atomic clock.

One of these years I'll get myself to St Louis and see all y'all in person.

I have one of the coolest gigs around. 4 nights a week I get to dress up like a cowboy and sing old cowboy songs and play a few tunes on steel at The Blazin' M Ranch. In Cottonwood AZ. For more information, Google "Blazin' M Ranch.

Drop me a line if you like. bdb107@earthlink.net

I'll try to join in more often, I promise.

Hey BD, nice to see your post. Looks you do have a great gig there. Guess ya got tired of the rain here..ha.
It was fun playing a couple of shows with Gerry & Pat & Joe Levack...Gerry still rides out on the horse, with wireless mike to start the show. Joe is such a solid guitarist, makes it fun to play steel.
Anyway good luck to ya down there.
Johnny

Good to see you at least passing through!

I, too, went to Arizona not too long after Bellingham. Looks like you're adapting to the heat better than I ever did. Glad to hear that a fun gig has been found and I'll hope to catch you around here more often again.

Regardless of whether curse or praise is required, I still hold you personally accountable for initiating my obsession with the steel guitar.
