It would be good to hear Junior ANYWHERE. I'm glad he'll be in St. Louis. "Extreme Country" is one of the best CD's ANYONE has ever done. Good song selection and excellent arrangements compliment his great style and ability. If you don't have it, you're cheating yourself out of a lot.

Junior is such a great talent. I love his playing and I love him as a person. He is always so much fun to work with and I can't wait to do so in St.Louis. I just wish he would stay with the steel guitar and leave the electrc alone. HA HA. No I don't as I will be at late night friday show to steal some of his licks, and he has many. I can't wait to see you my friend. Please sing one for me. Your pal always, Bobby

I know that everyone raves about how great Junior Knight is on steel guitar, and I don't disagree one bit, but The Man sure can pick a mean LEAD GUITAR!!! when he has to also.

I had Redd Volkaert and Junior Knight play lead guitar on my last CD and they are both GREAT PICKERS!!!!!

You should hear the "Chicken Pickin" that Junior does on a couple of the songs on my CD<<<, it sounds just like something off a 1960's Buck Owens or Merle Haggard record,>>>>>> ie: Don Rich and Roy Nichols

By the way, I am gonna brag on Junior here a little bit, some of you may not know this, but he used to play Bass for the late great Wynn Stewart back in the 60's, good reason why he knows all those licks<<<<< !!!!!
He also played with LeAnn Rimes for awile in the 90's.
And he has played on countless projects just recently that are coming out of Texas, just look at the backs of the CD's and you will probably see his name either on steel or lead guitar.

So while you are in St. Louis make sure to catch Junior's set on Saturday afternoon, and buy a CD or 2 from this "HUMBLE PLAYER"! that would never say this stuff about himself

You are one of the Great's "TEXAS STEEL MAN"!!!!!!
