Just heard this nice old country tune on my satellite country music station.. CD something.. Anyway, It was an early Buck recording to be sure. called A 11.. kind of "primitive" sounding compared to his later stuff... the steel sounded like an old cable Fender, real honky tonk sounding.. in tune and on the money ,but very basic by today's standards... Mostly all A and B pedal stuff.. Right up my alley!.. anyway, it did not sound like Brumley to me.. Could this have been Ralph Mooney's early pedal steel playing??.. It sounded to me like the song was done maybe 1959-61 something like that... I really did like the tune and the cool early E9 pedal stylings... bob

That may have been one of the sessions Tom B played on an Owens-owned Fender- Together Again was cut on a Fender just after Tom was invited to join the band according to liner notes on Tom Brumley's "Tom Cattin'" LP (STEEL GUITAR RECORD CLUB -Tom Bradshaw collection of Buckaroos instrumentals featuring Tom)

Some time in 1964 (I don't remember the month), Buck Owens and the Buckaroos played a club I was working in Odessa, Texas. Tom Brumley was playing a Fender 1000 at that time.
