Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
I live in Talllula, Il. (about 20 miles NW of Springfield). Been playing guitar since age 14. Bought my first steel in 1969. Been struggling ever since! HaHa
I use a Peavey DPC 750 with StereoSteel for my Fender Strat. Just bought a real nice Vegas 400 from Forum Member George King to use with my MSA. (I use an RV3 with the 400-looking to buy another RV3 BTW)
I use pretty well the standard set-up on both necks. I've got E to F# on my up lever & pull 1st 2 strings with pedal# 3.
I use pretty much the Emmons tuning on C6. I pull C to D & A to B with up lever. An interesting combination. Would like to hear from anyone else doing that.
Well, I've rambled on long enough. BTW I'll be 69 on Sep 25th..............Dalton
