So Cool to see Lloyd with Steve Wariner tonight on the opry, even if the sound wasn't great. Lloyd has done so much over the years for the pedal steel, it is great to see him live again.

You sure could tell it was Lloyd playing, such a unique wonderful intro on the last song and backup throughout that can't be mistaken that its Lloyd even if the camera doesn't show enough steel shots of him creating those wonderful melodies. I think most know he's produced the greatest steel sounds ever on this instrument. This was demenstrated in just a few seconds with a flash video shot on the Opry. Thanks Lloyd for showing once again you are still at the top in sound, and just being on what is really needed at the instant by the singer. Just my opinion developed over 50 years of listening to all kinds of country music.

yeap

Lloyd used to be prety active on the forum (at least thru some other players close to him)but I didn`t hear anything from him in a long time.I sure do miss him.I also miss many other great players who decided to stop posting on here.I can understand why they made that decision but I still miss them.Thank God Bobbe is still active and Buddy jumps in from time to time so I feel blessed I`m part of it.

Fortunately for Lloyd and unfortunately for the rest of us N.T.S.G.A. members, Lloyd is so busy that we have been missing his presents at our monthly~meetings and Super~Jams lately! Go Lloyd Go!

Lloyd
I know you will see this post.
You sounded great!!!
I wish the folks at GAC would change
the format to more music. They
talk too much backstage.
