Gene Hilts:
I'm not familiar with him.

Bill West:
The ex-husband of Country singer,Dottie West, still lives in the Tenn. area and,I believe,is involved in electronics. Bill is the one that had a lot to do with the inception of the "talking steel" that Pete Drake used.

Jim Webb:
If you're referring to "Big Jim" Webb, that played for Red Sovine & Del Reeves...he passed away several years ago, from cancer.

Hope this helps you.

I saw the other Jimmy Webb steel picker in Montana, back in 1977. I believe he lives around Seattle, Wa. now.

Gene lives near me in Dunkirk. I see him occaisionally when I can when he plays with his band.
I haven't seen him in months tho I'm looking for him.

Does anyone have a way to contact him?
