I would like to send along my most sincere thanks to everyone that attended the Northwest Steel Guitar Association-2005 Jamboree.......and were willing to sit thro' my performance......"a tribute to Jerry Byrd".

As usual, met a lot of really nice people up there in the Emerald Empire of eastern Washington State. Some really fine steel guitarists appeared and played on the program on June 5th. Some exciting new, creative players among them.

Several young people told me that my playing on "the little guitar"....had inspired them to take up steel guitar music lessons and they seemed quite thrilled by the prospect.

A particularly BIG THANKS to Joel Johnston who engineered my part of the show and also played rhythm guitar for my set. What a guy and a BIG JERRY BYRD Fan as well.

Again, thanks to all for attending this great event. If you play steel guitar, do yourself a favor and make it a point to join this wonderful group of musicians. They have a great web site with all the information you need to get involved.
