Hi everyone!! I wanted to intrduce myself. I've been a Steel fan since 1967.(Hope I'm not dating myself). I attempted to learn Steel about 20 years ago and got sidetracked; now I've decided to take the leap again. As you can see from the signature, I have a VERY understanding wife when it came to buying equipment. Now all I have to do is learn how to play. I've gotten much inspiration and lots of tips from all of your posts here on the Forum and I Thank You all for that. This is the most informative and friendly place I've ever seen. The only thing i bring to the table at this time is the strong desire to learn. Thanks Again and Greetings from Grantville, PA. (5 miles from Hershey)

Hi JimP! Sorry, they won't let me have any. Said I already had too much in my contract. Image Said I was an imposter cause I have a handlebar moustache. Go figure!! I guess now I'll have to take up coaching along with pedal steel. Image

Hello Jack! Thanks for the Welcome. What's your cousins name? I might know him or someone in my wife's family might. They've lived here for quite a long time and it seems everybody knows everybody else or belongs to a couple of large families in the Grantville area. You didn't move away because of our lovely taxes did ya? Come on back - we will soon have slot machines at Penn National and can use the extra cash! Image

Mike, I hate to say it but I don't remember my cousin's first name. The last time I saw him was probably early 50's. I've lost track of that part of the Stoner family. He's about the same age as me (I'm 67). He also has a sister but I don't remember her name either.

I moved from Pa because of work and don't get back too often anymore.

Welcome aboard, Mike, from another new member to the forum but not to the PSG. Been playing for about ** years and still love it. There just is'nt anything more relaxing than to sit down and play. I especially like southern gospel music and I play a lot in churches around my neck of the woods.

God Bless,
