Russ Hicks on Charlie McCoy album

Charlie McCoy has a new album out on the Green Hill label called, "CLASSIC COUNTRY". I found a CD in a local gift shop on one of those kiosk/headphone things. Russ Hicks does a superb job on steel. All the musicians are great pickers. Only the best for the "Real McCoy". Really great listening. Hicks' steel tone is really nice. Great dobro playing by Wanda Vick. Even jazz piano great Beegie Adair honks out some nice country licks. Pick up a copy.

Russ also was on an album (vinyl) with Charlie "Fastest Harp in the South". I need to transfer to CD, before something happens to the disk.

Also noticed they had "Fastest Harp In the South" for 5.50. I have that one on vinyl. I've always liked him, Floyd Cramer, Chet Atkins and the other Nashville pickers.
