Q For Paul Franklin

Paul,
I was fortunate enough to attend the Dallas show this year and had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to yourself and many other of my idols.
I saw you in the MSA room and you played a number of short(about 30 seconds)licks, after each lick you retuned the guitar, roughly 3 or 4 strings by at least a tone or so.
From my vantage point I could not see if you used the floor pedals during your playing?
Were you tuning to an open chord?
Were you using all the strings?
This,as well as the CD I bought is keeping me awake at night.
Thanks for being onstage with Hal Rugg and for sharing your set with him.
Best regards
Billy

Paul,
I am giving this post a bump since I guess you did'nt see it first time around, you were probably out having a good time with Brent Mason and making a lot of fans happy.
Best regards
Billy

Billy,
I was tuning the strings up and down to demonstrate some of the pedal changes I have adapted on my guitar for the discussion I was having with Reece. I probably was not using any pedals when I detuned the guitar. I was demonstrating to Reece how his copedant with the Bb6th prompted me to change many of the standard C6th pedals.

I hope this explains what I was doing.

Sorry, I missed this post.....Paul

Paul,
Thank you very much for your reply,
I appreciate your taking the time to post here on the forum.
I wish you continued success and hope to see you again in Dallas next year, unless of course you decide to come to Scotland for some golf.
Best regards
Billy
