My new Zum

Post by Torben Koch »

I want to give Bruce a big Thankyou for making me the best pedalsteel I've ever had.
I got my Zum D10 8/7 Blackstone w/mother of pearl 3 weeks ago and what a beauty.
Great Great sound - just fantastic to play.
Bruce are great to deal with - he know how to make a steel a man from the other side of the pond just can sit behind and feel at home with

Hi Torben
With all the gigs you play, you must be one of the busiest around’ in Denmark; you really deserved a "one of a kind steel" to match you! I heard you get carried away with that one, your tone, your style, woaww. Thank you for that beautiful day and your hospitality, I’ll never forget that.

Congratulations , hope you don’t mind me posting a photo here of you with the new Zum, ( .. hope it’ll work with this linking.)

Hi Turbo!

It looks like that Zum will be as legendary in the future as Emmons has been in the past (and present). I keep hearing only good things about those steels and their maker.

"Turbo powered Zum" Image Yeah literally!

I realized that the Zumsteel was not that prominent in the pictures of Torben, so here’s one of the guitar itself.

But, you know, the man behind the instrument, his experience, his ideas, still is the main thing.

Hi Klaus
Yes I have only good things to tell about the Zumsteel - The band I played with last night has never seen and never heard my new Zum - I have played with them for about 3 years - They told me several times how beautifull a tone was coming out of my amps. As I have told before in this conversation - For me Bruce are The Master of making steels It's worth waiting for a Zum - nobody in front of him and nobody beside him.
If you are in this part of the country - feel free to call me.
