I have the greatest hits CD. Each song has musician credits and on that song it says:

John McFee: Electric Guitar, Pedal Steel, Violin, Backround Vocals

Check out New Shade Of Blue

Original Zuma liner notes also credit John McFee for all pedal steel on that album. Also note Stu Cook from Creedence on bass. New Shade of Blue was a great tune, and their biggest hit. I always liked this band and wondered why they didn't hit bigger. Same for Desert Rose Band. Too rock for country, too country for rock and roll? I thought they blended things nicely without sacrificing either.
