Dwight Yoakam's got a cover of "I Want You to Want Me" (yes, the ol' Cheap Trick song), and it has an absolutely killer sounding pedal steel and acoustic intro to it. Unfortunately, the liner notes of the album I have it on don't list the musicians (one of my pet peeves! GRRRRRR!!!!) Could one of you fellow forumites tell me who's the skilled master behind the steel work on this tune? My guess is that it's Gary Morse since I know he did work with Dwight, but I could be wrong. Thumbs up to whomever it may be. |

Its Gary playing his Sho-Bud Pro-II. Killer licks. I play his licks to that song every weekend. The audience loves that arrangement. |
