I wanted to take the time to sing the praises of Keith Hilton and his excellent volume pedal. I had been using a Goodrich L-120 for several years before the pot went out on me in the middle of a gig. As soon as I realized that I was in dire need of a new pedal, my choice was clear - I picked up the phone and called Keith and explained my demise. He came through IMMEDIATELY for me and my new pedal arrived yesterday. Needless to say, I spent last night putting this baby through its' paces and I cannot believe the performance and the improved tones over my old pedal.
Keith Hilton is now my HERO and a credit to all of the wonderful people in the world of Steel Guitar, the instrument we all LOVE so much. Not only does he build the BEST volume pedal, but he stands behind his product and gave me his home phone number so that I could call him to give him my report after testing it. This, to me, is a credit seldom heard of these days (except for Bruce Zumsteg, of course! LOL).
Please forgive me for my 'soap box', but I wanted to share my feelings with everyone on this great Forum. For those of you who are considering upgrading to a 'potless' pedal, I highly recommend that your first choice should be the Hilton ME262-B.

Roger I agree with you 100% on the Hilton pedal and the guy that stands behind them. There is no change in tone AT ALL when you crank the pedal. I have considered ordering a couple more just in case Keith ever quit making them...don't know how much longer I'll be bless to play but I sure wouldn't want to be without the Hilton pedal for one gig.

Absolutely right - Hilton Volume Pedal is the best!

Keith Hilton did'nt know me from adam when i had a prob w: my ME262 ( 220v to 110v)
Keith went out of his way to ensure that i'd be back up & runnin'
Keith goes beyond the call of duty

Yea --Yea -- the darned thing is "a piece of work" alright, and so is Keith--but I'm telling you--the darned thing draws women--you better carry a stick with you --

Hip Hip and all that for Heith, he went above and beyond to help me out also. Thanks Keith, I am your number one supporter, (glad you are not a football player otherwise I would be an athletic...!)

I might add that Keith would impress you if he had never developed his pedal. I knew him before he ever thought of manufacturing a product. He is a gentleman and a scholar.

I'm on the Hilton bandwagon as well- not just a great product but a truly good human being. I wish every manufacturer was as thoughtful and committed. Love those pedals!

I own 2 Hilton pedals. I don't even possess a pot pedal, anymore. Keith has a super product, and Keith is a super person. I'm proud to play his vol. pedals, and I'm also honored to call Keith Hilton a "friend."
