Has anyone heard of Tommy lately?

I loved his playing on "The Return Of Wayne Douglas" album by Doug Sahm.

Hey Ronald,

Tommy is one of the busiest musicians/producers I know! I've been fortunate to be able to work with him on a regular basis. He's been consistently putting out a bunch of great albums at his Cherry Ridge Studio in Floresville, Tx. Some of his latest projects include; James Talley, Jason Allen, 1100 Springs, Jamie Richards, Christine Mims, Jarrod Birmingham, Dane Sterling, Pauline Reese,.... too many to list here!

Both his musicianship and production quality are absolutely top-shelf all the way.

Stop by his website and check out what he's been up to (www.cherryridgestudio.com). He'd love to hear from you as well.

Bobby

That recording is some of the happiest sounding steel guitar playing ive ever heard. Whenever I play it , seems like everybody in my house starts dancin all over the place. What a killer recording!! I love it too. bob

Tommy is an incredible PSG player. He is also an excellent Dobro and 6-string guitar player. I've had the pleasure of knowing him for many years. His music and playing has inspired me on many musical levels.

Does anyone know the gear Tommy used for the Doug session? I think someone said he played a Zum. What did he run it through -- it's a beautiful tone! Boo
