Need to get your lap steel to a gig ... and don't have a car?

Not to worry -- Ben Harper has a fast, environmentally-friendly way for you and your axe to get there: the Harper/Clark "Skate Lap."

For the record, my 14-year-old son is mortified that I did not know that the cool way to write the name is "Sk8lap."

(I should add that he is quite talented with both skateboards and guitars, but he is not begging me to buy him a "Skate-" oops, "Sk8lap.")
