Dear friends,
If somebody asks you "what you want for Christmas" consider asking Santa Claus for a couple of new CDs that will knock you out:
1) Justin Trevino - Too Many Heartaches (with Dickie Overbey on Steel) - this one's as great as his last albums!
2) Darrell McCall - Old Memories And Wine (with Dickie Overbey and Rick Price on Steel, produced by Justin Trevino) . full of classic country!
3) Bobby Flores - Festival Favorites (Randy Reinhard and Dickie Overbey) - see 2)
4) Various Artists - Live from the Grand Ole Opry (2 CDs, mostly live recordings from the lat 40's to the early 60's, with Hank Williams, ET, Faron Young, Marty Robbins, Red Foley and, and). There are some great tracks on this one that I haven't heard so far!
5) Stonewall Jackson - The Little Darlin' Sounds - This is another release on Koch, from Aubrey Mayhew's catalogue - Lots of great steel by Lloyd Green!
If you all were nice and sweet in the last year, Santa might agree to bring you some great music!
