I recently heard on steelradio.com part of a tune by Koos Biel with a title like "Don't Forget Spring" that was so soothing and played with such sublime tone, sonority and feeling it left me speechless.

Can anybody help me by advising of the proper title and direct me to where I might find a recording of Koos playing this piece?

Peace out

Jimmy

Hi, Jimmy: How's it going? I don't know about the title, but you should be able to contact Koos' wife, Jelle, about the CDs. Here's her email from The Forum: jbiel@home.nl

Hey Steve,

Nice to hear from you. How's life in the Big smog? Thanks for the info. Koos has actually contacted me so all is OK. When I am a bit more flush I will order some CDs.Have you heard this tune? What a great sound koos has.

This thread can be closed as my query has been more than taken care of.

Peace Out

JD

Jimmy, believe it or not, Beijing is sporting clear, blue skies today; just right for a bicycle ride, which is what I intend to do. This is a city of weather mood swings, several days like today followed Dickensian, gray gloom. Fortunately, it's usually more of the former. I'm not familar with the tune, but perhaps when you visit us here you can play it on my steel. Take care,
steve

Paul,

Thanks for your post. I really appreciate your offer. Koos has kindly contacted me so there is no need to send the tune but feel free to send me a mail as I am always interested in corresponding with musically like minded people. Once again, thank you for taking the time to add some input about this beguiling piece.
