Well, at least video clips of them are. Gretchen Wilson's video of her new song "When I Think About Cheatin'" has a number of vintage clips superimposed on the video.

"Redneck Woman" was a huge hit, but it was a little shrill for my taste. Gretchen's new song is very pretty ballad with some good steel work. Nice use of a diminished chord in the verse, too.

The "icing on the cake" is to see Hal playing what looks to be a very early Sho-bud, Johnny Siebert playing a triple neck, and Buddy Charlton along with some of the Troubadors.

There are quite a few other artists in these "clips", including Chet Atkins, Randy Scruggs, and more. May even be some other steel players, but the three aforementioned steelers are the ones that I could pick out.

I expect this video to get a lot of play on CMT.
