Went out to Gruene Hall last nite and saw the Haciendo Bros with David playing steel,,,,man that young guy plays a lot of red hot steel!!! He plays an old sho-bud that used to belong to Ricky Davis and I think he was playing straight into a PV amp,,,great tone and great delivery,,, on both necks. I think they're from So Cal. If you get a chance to see'em go for it.

Hey Sonny; yes that is my old Sho~bud Pro~II that I played all those years with Dale Watson. David plays through a Fender Tube amp by the way not a PV...ha....as I gotta set the record straight on that, as DB is a huge fan of 60's pedal steel and you can't get that sound through a PV...

Anyway; I just got home from seeing the boy play at the Continental Club here in Austin and he is playing sooooo great and I'm proud as all get out over him.
