EBAY #3364565352 Interesting photo of Tex and the boys at the ball field. I have a feeling ol' Murph wasn't too interested. [This message was edited by Ron Whitfield on 24 November 2003 at 04:26 PM.] |

Ron:
It's actually quite straightforward, although there are a number of steps involved. Highlight this post and copy it to your word processer and print it out for convenient reference. Here goes:
(1) Go to the item in eBay
(2) Point to the "Address" at the top of your screen
(3) Right click on the address
(4) A drop-down menu will appear. Left click on "Copy". This will copy the address to your "clipboard" and it will remain there until called for as described below
(5) Go to the Forum thread where you want to post the link
(6) Click on "Add A Reply" at the bottom of the thread.
(7) When the edit window appears, enter your name and password
( point to the area (i.e., the dialog box)where you would normally type a message
(9) Right click on that area. The drop-down menu should appear. Click on "Paste" and the address will be pasted into the dialog box. (If the drop down menu does not appear, then left click on "Edit" at the top of your screen and when the drop down menu appears, left click on "Paste")
(10) Now, in front of the link type URL[= and in back of the link type ]Link[/URL]
The word "Link" will then appear in a new post at the bottom of the thread. When anyone double clicks on the word "Link" the eBay item will appear on their screen.
You may want to experiment by posting to the Test and Feedback page. Good luck
===========================================
Edited to say that Jaff posted the link while I was typing the above. You may still want to learn to do it yourself.[This message was edited by Roy Ayres on 24 November 2003 at 03:29 PM.] |

Jeff, thanx a lot, that helps.
Roy, I appreciate your showing me the ropes. I'll definitly be working on it.
Al, maybe it's from Spade's era. But JM looks to be a bit older than his teens.
Can anyone recognize the rest of the guys(besides, Tex and Pedro)? I believe Deuce is second from left, standing. |
