Who was the steel guitar player on Lefty Frizzell's records, circa 1952 ? (Mom & Dad's Waltz, I Love You Mostly, Two Friends of Mine etc.) Was that Curly Chalker ? What kind of steel was that ? I just love that sound ! |

Ed, Lefty used several players in the early 50's, Curly Chalker was probably the most prominent one (given his later career).
Other players who recorded with Lefty were:
Jimmy Kelly
Jimmie Curtis
Charley White
Paul Blunt
George McCoy
Dale Galley
I am sure we do have some experts on the forum who can provide more details about the topic!
Kind Regards, Walter
