Wow, what a gig!

I just got home and have to spread the word about the fantastic gig I had tonight. Carl Vaughan called me to play a little private party tonight. He didn't say who else would be there, and I thought I might have to carry all the lead.

When I showed up, I couldn't believe my eyes. Here's the line up:

Carl Vaughan - rhythm guitar and vocals
Jim Snider - bass and vocals
Mark Abbot - fiddle and vocals
Tommy Allsup - lead guitar and vocals
Wayne Bennett - drums
and me - steel

While we had a great time, it was almost a waste to not get to play for the public. Sure hope we get to do it again sometime in a bigger venue.
