I had the opportunity to be in the opening act for Josh Turner & band this past Saturday in Reinholds, PA.
(I played in the backup band for an 18 year old girl from PA. with a great voice)
Also got to meet the Pedal Steel player from
Josh's band. His name was Vic (didn't catch
his last name). He was truly enjoyable to
listen to, both on steel and dobro. And also
enjoyable to talk with.
I believe he also said he works at Steel Guitar Nashville when he's not on the road.
If you do get a chance to see Josh Turner,
don't miss it, he's real country !
And of course, make sure you say hello to
Vic.

You are right it is Vic Lawson. I have known Vic for a number of years and have shared the stage with him when we were with different bands. Not only is Vic a good player, he is an extremely nice Man. I am proud to say we are both from Tulsa..

Yes, he is one of my great employees, Vic does service work for me at Steel Guitar Nashville when he's not on the road, and has for several years. Good guy.
Danny Bentley is another Nashville steel player that works here, I'm blessed with as great a crew as I've ever had.

I was walking down Broadway in Nashville last week and happend to see and hear the world famous and legendary,Smiley Roberts playing a push pull Emmons in a place called Legends, and he was sounding soooo good.
On break he introduced to the PP owner which was Vic Lawson whom I later heard doing his magic on the PP Emmons.I will say that Josh Turner and Bobbe Seymour are fortunate to have Vic with them.If you get the chance to hear Vic and maybe meet him you will be delighted.
