Since I have a buyer for my Maverick, will be looking for steel with at least 2 knee levers. The price range between 600.00-700.00$. Doesn't have to be beautiful cosmetically, but must be MECHANICALLY SOUND!!!!!
Happy Holidays.

I don't know if you've seen them, but Chuck Back at Desert Rose Guitars makes a student model in this price range that is a very solid guitar. It is good enough to gig with. He's in Tucson, AZ. His website is
www.desertroseguitars.com
Also, you can search on Desert Rose and find comments on the Desert Rose guitars here on the Forum.
