Looking forward to it! For those who haven't heard Vol. 1, it's an excellent playalong set.

I would suggest a little more rhythmic diversity, and a wider range of keys. I would also introduce the tune and the key, and maybe how many pickups, so you don't have to refer to the cover.

You might also consider a couple of longer instrumental-only tracks.

Hope to hear it soon, I need more tracks.

I second what Johnathan says, I have vol 1 and love play along CD's. There are af FEW Hank Williams JR. songs that I would love to play with "a la Eddie Long" PLEASE put the key you are playing in some place other than the CD I can't remember it and hate to spend time hunting it down. Also I vote for a little more Texas Swing. Good job!!

I am curious about what songs you have on Vol. 1. I happen to have fond memories of Texas Dance halls when I used to live there. Even got married in a Texas Dance hall. Thanks

Tunes I could use:

Roly Poly
My Window Faces the South
San Antonio Rose
Four or Five Times
Sugarfoot Rag (Inst.)
Orange Blossom Special
Stay All Night

at least two solo choruses each, maybe have the vocals alone on one side so you can play them as instrumentals.

I have this album, also, and it is great!!! Great band all around!!

For those who would like to learn some great steel licks to play along with the album, contact Dick Meis. He has licks from beginner to pro for this album and they're all good. His web site is at www.pedalsteelguitar.net.
