I never met the late Tommy Roots but I've had the joy of listening to his recordings and training material. I would like to nominate him for the SGHOF but I do not have the necessary personal information to post the "seven questions" required. Surely there must be some of his contemporaries that might lend a hand for this gentleman. I think that he might have been a school teacher in Texas during his career. I also understand that he was most generous at PSG shows. Hopefully someone with the correct answers will help the memory of his work.

Charles, I sure second you on the Hall Of Fame idea. Tommy was a great player and I always thought his C6th was top notch. You are correct he was a school teacher from Corpus Christi, Texas. He has passed on but his memory will be with me for years to come. I certainly enjoyed his playing.

I believe in being fair to "all". It just seems to me that the amount of videos and written instruction that was under his name should lend strong support for Tommy.
