Does anyone out there know what ever happened to a great steeler named Jerry Day? An old friend of mine from the SoCal days lives in Texas and was trying to contact him as Jerry played for him for a while when he was in southern California. Jerry was retired military if I remember right. He worked a little with us at the Foothill Club in Long Beach (Signal Hill). He was a pretty good picker and a real nice guy. If anyone knows of his whereabouts please answer this post or email me directly and I'll pass it on....thanks, Jerry H.

I picked some with Jerry Day in the late 70's. I've lost track of him over the years though. We had some good times Image
[This message was edited by MALCOLM KIRBY on 17 March 2004 at 05:49 PM.]

I'd be curious to track down Jerry Day as well. He was a great player in L.A., wore a black top hat, smoked a pipe. This was circa 1979-81 or thereabouts.

Hello, Jerry Hayes!

Yo John,
Glad to see ya still on the old home turf. Last time I saw Jerry he was working with Amil Presson about the same time I was at the Foothill Club...Have a good 'un, JH
