I just got to listen to this CD (not all of it yet, it's something like eight hours long with 180+ songs!) and I have to say it's absolutely stunning.

I'd heard some Sol Hoopii and King Benny Nawahi before, but there are lots of other INCREDIBLY hot players in this collection, some of whom I'd never heard of. Jim & Bob (who I had heard of) are my new favorites--their "St. Louis Blues" is one of the finest pieces of Hawaiian guitar playing I think I've ever heard. King, Queen & Jack (who I haven't heard of) do a hilarious and crazily virtuosic version of "12th Street Rag" which will either depress or inspire you, depending on your character.

I don't know if it's still being sold, but it's more than worth the money if you can still get a copy. SO much good stuff on here, you won't believe it.

Looks like a wonderful collection of 78's transcribed onto CD-Rom. An unbelievable deal for $20!
