Buddy is looking at the chart trying to find where David (who is looking at a sweet young thing)might be!

<i>"Is that next chord really a B-minus, sharp 33? Who wrote this chart anyway??"

My guess: David is looking at Gregg Galbraith, who was sneaking away after putting a photo-copied dirty cartoon on Buddy's effects chair, (in lieu of an effects rack.)

More importantly, is that the same chair he had in St. Louis?

Look closely at BE's right hand - something is wrong with this picture. Has it been doctored in some way?

The picture is not doctored in any way. It was taken at Scotty's in 1997. I was in the hall early Friday afternoon, when Buddy and his back up band were practicing before that night's performance.
I took this still picture along with several others. Not sure what is happening with his right hand.
I had put this pic in my computer a long time ago. And just happened to run across it the other day, so I posted it.
If I can find them, I will post some more from that session.
I believe I have a good one of Greg Galbreath also. He was in that band along with David Smith. Now there is an unsung hero (if there ever was one) in the world of regular guitar. What an incredible player.
Course David is no slouch when it comes to playing Bass. In fact one of the greatest. Hopefully I can find that one of Greg and post it too.

Well, I'll be!!! It's the Peavey Hand Puppet amp. Looks like a great way to ease into retirement! The apron is for the drool?

I don't recall, but I believe Bobby Boggs is correct when he says Derby.
I will try and dig the other photos up and see if the nameplate is clearer on one of them.

Buddy did in deed play the Derby at St Louis in '97. He then played his LeGrande in '98.

Where's Waldo? Not only is Buddy's arm reaching into the back of the amp, but the aluminum trim is missing off one side of the amp???
