Chris,do a search and get ahold of both
Rick Jackson and Gerry Walker, those two guys
should know where to send you if there's
any PSG in the area.

Joe Camocho would know, he's taking lessons from Ricky Davis I think and lives out here. I know psg has gotta be out here somewhere but I have never see em at the normal spots, nothing downtown that has steel. Downtown has turned into tecno DJ land.

Jerry Walker's band, according to www.workingcowboyband.com is playing
in Tuscon on the 27th & 28th.
Ifyou'd a been here last night and were willing to make the treck up to Ron's Red Eye Saloon in Falbrook, you could've seen Rick Schmidt hold the fort. The lead guitarist didn't show up until the 1st set was half over and Rick did a fantastic job.

Chris: Are you out here for Folk Alliance? If so are you playing any shows? I`ll be doing a showcase with my dear friend Sweet Mama Cotton on Fri. No PSG though; I`m playing my 6-string reso. Mark

Hi Mark - Yep, I'll be at the Folk Alliance as well. I've sent you an email. I'll hope to hook up.

Anyone else out in forum land going to be at the FA?

Gerry Walker (GD Walker Electronics) is playing with the Working Cowboy Band on Tuesday night at the Longshot Saloon in San Marcos (North County). You should try and catch them they're pretty good. Gerry is a burnin' steel player to be sure.

Aww - sorry I didn't see this sooner. I just saw Neko Case (with Kelly Hogan and Carolyn Mark), both in LA, and down in San Diego - the San Diego show was early evening on the 29th (so you might have missed it anyway).

Jon Rauhouse played pedal stell, as well as a Weissenborn style acoustic, guitar, and that dreaded "b" instrument. Nice work all around...

Anyone make either of these shows (or the one in SF)?
