Mark is not just a fine steel player, he also plays excellent lead guitar, banjo, and mandolin, and on top of that, is a terrific singer. In fact he is so good he is downright scary.
Welcome Mark. It's good to have you here.

Thanks guys;
Mike exaggerates, but you probably know that by now. With so many world-class players and historians on the Forum I`ve already learned a lot. b0b should get some kind of award for making this possible,even if he hates banjos.

I'm sure Mark won't mind if I add that he's also a teacher (in the LA area). He teaches at the Frethouse in Covina, Silver Lake Music Conservatory in LA proper (in the Silver Lake area), and somewhere else too (maybe Traditional Music in North Hollywood?). His # is listed on their site (
http://traditionalmusic.com/).
I'm sure he'd be happy to have more lap / pedal steel students.
